PB Automation is located in Lilydale on the outskirts of Melbourne. The premises has a well equipped office, workshop, test and warehouse facilities all owned and operated by the company.

PB Automation is owned and operated by Pieter de Boer, Engineering Manager, and Maria Brouwers, Business Manager.
Migrating to Australia in 1990, owner Pieter de Boer worked on a range of projects for Woodside Offshore Petroleum with Siemens.
Projects included Emergency Shutdown Systems amongst others and materials handling projects for Northparkes Mines, that utilised Pieter’s software design, implementation and commissioning control system to bring copper and gold from the underground mine to the surface mill in Parkes, NSW.
In 2000, Pieter established PB Automation to concentrate solely on the design and commissioning of PLC systems that incorporate WinCC, Scada and other technologies.
PB Automation is owned and operated by Pieter de Boer, Engineering Manager and Maria Brouwers, Business Manager.
Pieter migrated to Australia from The Netherlands in 1990 to take up a role with Siemens in Engineering Software Applications.
The ‘CSL Whyalla’ project has delivered outstanding performance levels, since commissioning in Dec 2012 and the system has been operating flawlessly. Feedback from the operators of the system is that it is very user friendly and easy to use whilst providing all pertinent information and data.
